How it works
Hair grows in a cycle of three stages: anagen (growth), catagen (transitional), and telogen (resting).
Lynton EVOLVE™ uses laser technology to target the hair follicle in the anagen phase, which is when the hair responds best to the treatment. Up to 30% of hair is in this phase at during each session. The laser delivers energy to the hair follicle, where it’s absorbed by the hair pigment. This weakens the follicle so that the hair cannot grow anymore, resulting in long lasting hair reduction.
Am I a good candidate for this treatment? / Will it work for me?
Our device can treat a range of skin and hair types including tanned skin.
Clients with blonde, red or grey hair are usually unsuitable to treat.
Can I have treatment if I have a darker skin type?
Lynton EVOLVE™ hair removal treatments can be done on darker skin tones, even tanned skin, but using different settings for greater safety. Serenna will perform a patch test and wait 24 hours, to assess your reaction to the laser.
How many sessions will I need?
6 sessions every 4-6 weeks is recommended to clients that haven’t received treatment before.
Maintenance sessions are recommended a couple times a year after course finishes.
We also welcome clients which have done courses elsewhere and looking to join us just for top up sessions.
Do I need a patch test? Is it FREE?
All new clients require a pre treatment patch even if you have received laser treatment elsewhere before.
Your patch test is complimentary prior to treatment. Your first treatment can then take place no less than 24h from the patch test.
As with all our appointments, to book in, a refundable deposit of £50 is processed via our booking site and can be used against treatment costs or returned to you if you are not suitable for treatment or do not wish to go ahead.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for the treatment?
Shaving is required the night before treatment.
This is also the recommended method of hair removal throughout your course of treatment.
how often will i have my sessions?
Treatment will be performed every 4-6 weeks for best results.
We recommend beginning with 6 sessions if you are new to the treatment.
can i pay my course in instalments?
Yes - your treatment cost can be split into 3 equal payments.
do you offer full body laser sessions?
We laser all areas head to toe. Sessions are recommended every 4-6 weeks.
Price per session - starting from £250 - £300.
Will my treatment be performed by a female staff member?
All laser treatments are routinely done with our female therapist.
