Minor surgery is quick day case treatment of small skin lesions, done under a local anaesthetic for maximum comfort.
It is carried out by our Cosmetic Doctor in our purpose built minor procedures theatre, at our clinic based at Pendeford Business Park, Wolverhampton.
You will be able to relax as a little local anaesthetic will make your treatment with us a breeze.
The treatment area will be cleansed and sterilised. Our doctor will then comfortably treat the concern area.
They will then give you advice on how to care for yourself after treatment and arrange any repeat treatment and follow up as necessary.
There is no downtime as such with minor skin procedures and you can return to your daily activities from the next day. For 72 hours, heat extremes such as prolonged sun exposure, strenuous exercise, taking saunas or using steam rooms are to be avoided. Some skin tenderness, swelling and bruising in the treatment area are possible but this is normal and will subside in a few days.
